Roles of the SJSU CS Industry Advisory Board include:

• Strategic Guidance on computer science trends, workforce needs, and emerging opportunities to help align the department's programs and courses with professional demands.
• Student Support and Engagement for the professional development and success of SJSU CS students.
• Advocacy and Promotion of the CS department and its students within the Valley and beyond.
• Fundraising Support to help secure funding for scholarships, programs, facilities, and other priorities.
