The Student Opinion of Teaching Effectiveness (SOTE) and Student Opinion of Laboratory
and Activity Teaching Effectiveness (SOLATE) surveys assess student perceptions of
teaching effectiveness.
Institutional Research and Strategic Analytics conducts the official teaching evaluations
at SJSU using Anthology Course Evaluations. Students' identities are kept confidential.
